BOARD CERTIFIED CRIMINAL TRIAL LAWYER
Alison Lopes is a Florida Bar Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer. She is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Florida and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. Ms. Lopes represents clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including felony, misdemeanor and traffic allegations. In addition to defending clients with criminal matters, Ms. Lopes also represents clients in Family Law matters.
Ms. Lopes graduated from the City University of New York Hunter College with a degree in Political Science, and earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2007. While in law school, Ms. Lopes was an active member of the Student Bar Association and was awarded the Leadership Achievement Award for her service with the Student Bar Association.
After graduation from law school Ms. Lopes moved to Central Florida, and began her career as a criminal defense attorney with the Office of the Public Defender Ninth Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant Public Defender, Ms. Lopes aggressively advocated for her clients, earning the reputation of being tough and unafraid to go to trial.

She has tried over 70 criminal jury trials in cases that involved charges of:
- Attempted 1st Degree Murder with a Firearm
- Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm
- Capital Sexual Battery
- Trafficking in Heroin
- Driving While Under the Influence
